Ercol Windsor 203 Armchair - Fully Restored - Set of Two Chairs & One Footstool - Dark Blue

A design classic, well-made and structurally sound that will last a lifetime. Part of the Windsor Range, this style has seat and back cushions, round spindle back, webbed seat and classic curved arms.

The 203 armchair is low to the ground, has an extra long seat and tilted back. The 341 footstool can be added as an extension to the chair or as a piece of its own. Layback, relax and unwind!

Wood - desirable blonde in colour, made of English elm or beech, with a natural hand-oiled matt finish. We use Cornish Danish oil, this is natural oil, low in toxicity.

Webbing - newly strung with vintage (unused) webbing. We use the traditional Ercol loop and peg method, no staples.

Cushions Covers - removable with a zip opening. Made from vintage wool, hand-dyed in Cornwall. 100% wool, totally natural and vintage meaning no environmental impact. Machine washable, on a wool wash at 30 degrees. 

Cushion Foam - original foam cushions. We do not replace the foam, unless absolutely necessary. New foam increases the cost price, which we would have to pass on. Then there is the question of how to dispose of the old foam, landfill being the only option. New cushion pads available at £240 for the set. All our foam conforms to fire regulations.

Colour - blonde wood with grey/blue mottled effect cushions.
